Yoga IS for you. I understand many of the assumptions you might make about yourself, and about yoga, that stop you stepping inside a studio. These feelings aren’t permanent and you can change. I was like you.


I can assure you that you do not need to be:

  • Flexible
  • Strong
  • Athletic
  • Rhythmic
  • Graceful
  • Confident
  • Outgoing
  • Happy all the time
  • Spiritual
  • A particular age/body-type/gender/colour


Because you’ve read this far, I’m guessing you are still curious, intrigued or interested in discovering whether yoga could be for you.


You might have tried it in the past but for any number of reasons drifted away. You might be dabbling in it at the moment because you feel you should, but for any number of reasons you are not enjoying it. You might be starting at the very beginning (as we all did!). Brilliant! 

You might be ready to get ‘on the mat’ or you might tentatively be taking baby steps towards booking a class. Either way, you have the right to practice yoga and I would be delighted to meet you at a class in Edinburgh.
